Narmada Bridge Project

It is the first extra dosed cable stay bridge in India connecting Ankleshwar and Bharuch on National highway 8, over Narmada river. Precast segments are lifted with balance cantilever method using bridge builders (lifting frames).

Our scope included fabrication, assembly, erection and launching of lifting frames. Load test on these frames are done using additional loads.

After the erection other works like gluing, dry matching, and alignment were done. We were also involved in trestle tower erection and dismantling. Scope of balance cantilever part includes 1.4 km and maximum span length is 120m.
